Why did I choose Industrial Design
The reason I choose Industrial Design is mostly because I have wanted to design things for a long time now. What influenced me would probably be the new products that come out every year, and me thinking I would want to be a part of that and it would be cool to see something I designed out in the market where people are actually buying it. What I would want to do with my major is to design cars, but if that didn't work out I would probably just try to design anything because its hard to get the job you want right out of college, but I will have to see in four years.

IDEO video summary
The IDEO video really showed me how the design process works. It showed how the came up with ideas and how they put their imaginations to work. Basically they would come up with simple ideas and then have some crazy ideas and work from that. After that they would see what was affordable to make and if it was possible to make. They then started putting it all together, and had a blueprint of the final shopping cart they wanted to design. After all the plans were completed they built the prototype and tested it in a real life situation at a grocery store. The final design seemed efficient, simple, and making life easier when shopping for groceries.
